Rocky von Roger is a gorgeous 2 year old German Shepherd.  Possibly housebroken, ever-alert Rocky garners tons of attention during his hikes at Griffith Park.  He is not only shepherd handsome and intelligent, but also confident and friendly with his human friends.  Of mid-energy, Rocky may seem serious at first meeting but easily warms up and wants to be petted.  He is good on leash, not reacting to passing dogs unless one gets in his face (who wouldn’t react?).  In our play yard, Rocky is amenable to dogs with a submissive nature and, after initially sniffing them, usually prefers to just explore the yard.  Rocky will benefit from more socialization with dogs in general; a great start would be to enroll  him in the free, group obedience session led by our professional trainer that comes with his adoption.
